Delete your Welly account and data

Option 1 — Delete it yourself in the app

Open the Welly app.
Tap the Profile tab at the bottom of the screen.
Scroll down and tap Delete account.
Confirm. Your account and all health records are deleted permanently and immediately.

This cannot be undone. There is no recovery period.

Option 2 — Ask us to delete it

Use this if you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in.

Email lionandthelab@gmail.com from the email address you signed up with, with the subject “Welly account deletion request”.

You do not need to give a reason. If you signed in with Google, Apple or Kakao, send the request from that account’s email address.

We verify that the request comes from the account owner, complete the deletion within 30 days, and reply to confirm when it is done.

What is deleted

Workout and step data read from Apple Health or Android Health Connect	Never stored on our servers. It stays in those apps and is yours to manage there.
Payment and contract records (subscription product ID, receipt token, expiry date)	Kept for five years, then destroyed. South Korea’s Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce requires this. These records contain no health data and are stored separately.

Deleting only part of your data

If you want to keep your account but remove specific records — for example your pain journal or your consultation history — email the address above and tell us which items to remove. We handle these requests on the same 30-day timeline.

Cancelling your subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel a Welly Pro subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, so cancel there: App Store → Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions, or Google Play → Menu → Subscriptions. Cancel before deleting your account.
